Poppy Smith Wins Best Oral Presentation at International Symposium for Peripheral Nerve Regeneration and The Institution of Engineering and Technology International Travel Award

Poppy Smith won back to back awards at the International Symposium for Peripheral Nerve Regeneration (ISPNR) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology International (IET) Travel Award.

Poppy won 'Best Oral Presentation' and presented her PhD work at the 7th International Symposium for Peripheral Nerve Regeneration which was held in Milan, Italy. Poppy's PhD looks at peripheral nerve regeneration for translational purposes and is based at UCL's Centre for Nerve Engineering.

In addition, Poppy won the IET Travel Award, which will provide funds for her to attend the TERMIS-AM World Congress in Seattle, USA this June.
