Phoebe Chan’s research uses a multi-omics approach to study neuroendocrine tumours, utilizing spontaneous canine models as a translational bridge to better understand human disease.

Her poster, Epigenetic characterisation of canine insulinoma: a comparative model for human disease, was highly commended at the Society for Endocrinology BES 2026 conference, with the abstract also published in Endocrine Abstracts (https://www.endocrine-abstracts.org/ea/0117/ea0117P84; DOI:10.1530/endoabs.117.P84).

She also presented her work on single-cell transcriptomic profiling of canine insulinomas at the NET Models Meeting 2025, where she received the Best PhD Presentation award.
