Lady Barrios Silva Awarded TCES 2024 Travel Bursary
Lady Barrios Silva was awarded the Tissue and Cell Engineering Society (TCES) 2024 Travel Bursary, which provides PhD students and postdoctoral researchers funding to attend and promote TCES at external conferences and meetings.
The bursary enabled Lady to present at the 28th European Society for Animal Cell Technology (ESACT) seminar, which took place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre between 23rd-26th June.
Lady's presentation theme ‘Application of Cell Technologies to Advance the Health and Wealth of Society’ showcased various aspects of her LIDo-funded PhD project which generated a lot of interest from fellow academics and industrial representatives in the field.
