Evelyn Maniaki receives StreetVet’s Deam Lester Coleman Vet Volunteer of the Year Award

I was honoured to receive StreetVet’s Deam Lester Coleman Vet Volunteer of the Year, recognising my work supporting people experiencing homelessness and their pets. StreetVet is a veterinary charity providing free accessible care to the companion animals of those without secure housing.

As the Bournemouth StreetVet Lead, I organise our team, oversee communication and scheduling, and ensure our outreach runs smoothly so vulnerable pet owners can access the care they need. Being part of StreetVet has been a hugely meaningful way to support my community while growing as a clinician and leader.
