Duncan Wotherspoon Wins Poster Prize at the European Society for Dermatological Research Conference
The ESDR is one of the largest conferences in the world for dermatological research and Duncan's poster discussed the role of the actomyosin cytoskeleton in keratinocyte differentiation.
Speaking on the conference Duncan said: "I attended a satellite conference where I presented my work both as a talk (E2BRN) and a poster (ESDR). I wanted the chance to practice communicating my work whilst getting a feel for key developments in the field that would aid my own understanding of it".
Duncan's research focuses on skin biology, with a focus on cell biology, transcriptomics and cytoskeletal studies.
‘I’m shocked and excited to have been awarded this prize. I had a great time attending and presenting at the ESDR and look forward to sharing my works progress again next year".
