Alice Leavey Awarded Bogue Fellowship and SICB Poster Cerificate

Alice Leavey was awarded a certificate by the Society of Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) as a Finalist for 'Best Student Presentation’ in the Division of Comparative Biomechanics.

The annual meeting was held in Austin, Texas USA. Alice's presentation is titled: Modelling the effect of different proportions on hind limb kinematics in frogs. Click here to view Alice's presentation.

Additionally, Alice was awarded UCL's Bogue Fellowship. The fellowship supports overseas visits to the US with the aim of enriching research experience and developing the fellow's scientific career.

Alice is currently on a two month research placement working at the Blackburn Lab and University of Florida, where she is being trained on how to use micro-CT scanners for museum specimens.
