An Amazing Time at the LIDo Annual Retreat!

This year’s LIDo Annual Retreat brought together students, alumni, and staff for an inspiring programme of research, networking, and community-building. From engaging student presentations and talks to insightful alumni career discussions and a keynote lecture from Dr Jenny Molloy, the retreat offered something for everyone.

The events had plenty of opportunities to relax, connect, and have fun, including team-building activities, a pottery workshop, quiz night, karaoke, poster sessions, and the formal dinner. The retreat concluded with prize-giving to the image competition winners and closing celebrations.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the retreat such a success. It was wonderful to see the LIDo community come together to share ideas, celebrate achievements, build new connections, and create lasting memories. 

We’re already looking forward to next year!
